The Energy line focuses on the development of mathematical models, control strategies, computational tools, and devices for the efficient and sustainable use of electrical energy. The academics of the Energy line carry out research across disciplines that include optimization, control, economics, and power electronics. This research is applied to the design of operational schemes and to the planning of electrical systems, electrical markets, and electrical energy conversion devices.
