The Information Systems line focuses on the development and application of mathematical models, techniques, and algorithms for information processing. Academics in this line conduct research related to the disciplines of communications and networks, signal analysis and processing, and learning and inference. Applications are applied using wireless communication networks, medical imaging, and musical acoustics, among others.
